One thousand Snowdrops
A HUGE thanks to The Lockdown Bakehouse which made a generous donation to our plant fund. As a result we have bought and planted 1000 snowdrops “in the green” under the oak tree. These should re-appear every year for everyone to enjoy.


Merton in Bloom Winners
Our volunteer gardeners were recognised by Merton in Bloom 2025 winning two awards: Volunteer of the Year and the award for Biodiversity. Plants in our Prairie Garden have been specifically selected to encourage butterflies and bees alongside our bird boxes, bug hotel and hedgehog house.


Green Flag Award
We are incredibly proud to have received a Green Flag Award. You will have seen the special flag by the Cambridge Road entrance. Our volunteers are rightly proud of this achievement after all their efforts since Covid to make Holland Garden a much loved local park, enjoyed by all our visitors. Our garden volunteers have weeded areas that had over grown and replanted beds that had been trampled on and turned to mud. A lot of hard work goes on behind the scenes, all year roun
